Petro-Canada Netherlands B.V. (PCNL) developed the De Ruyter field, located in Block P11b. Block P11b is located in the Dutch North Sea, approximately 60 km northwest of The Hague and 20 km east of the UK border. Waterdepth in the field approx. 33.5 m.

Smit Marine Projects has subcontracted the suction services for the GBS and TMLS installation to SPT Offshore. The GBS comprises an Oil Storage Tank and Lattice Structure, which supports an Integrated Production Deck. The GBS consists out of a concrete base of 76m x 63m and on top of this a steel main structure and a steel wellbay structure. The TMLS foundation consists out of four individual cylindrical cells connected together.
