Due to SPT Offshore’s SAPS-003 with intergated lift and handling frame, an average complete suction pile installation of only 7 hours per pile was met at a water depth of 1,100m. A full survey and positioning system was integrated in the SAPS-003 pump, saving fabrication costs and offshore handling time.
