On February the 21st 2021, the first suction pile jacket of the Fujian Changle Waihai Offshore Wind Farm has been installed successfully by CCCC – First Harbor Engineering Company using SPT Offshore’ SAPS007S suction spread and crew.
SPT Offshore cooperates closely with her Chinese partner Yongfu Power Engineering for both the suction pile jacket design and suction installation services. This is the first of the 57no upto 10MW WTG suction pile jackets for Fujian Changle Waihai Area C developed by the Fujian Energy Group. Another 15no upto 8 MW WTG suction pile jackets will be installed this year as well for Changle Waihai Area A, which is being developed by China Three Gorges (CTG).
The offshore wind farm is located approximately 50 km offshore of the capital of Fujian province, in the southeast of China. Currently the furthest and the deepest offshore wind farm in China. The water depth within the wind farm area is 37 to 45 meters.
