During mid-September, Muhibbah Engineering (M) Bhd, together with SPT Offshore and Asian Lift Pte. Ltd. completed the installation of the Petrofac ECW-A Jacket and boat-landing at the East Cendor field offshore Malaysia. The tri-legged jacket is founded on a suction pile foundation and has a total weight of 1100 mT.
Despite the challenging conditions of COVID-19 affecting worldwide vendors and suppliers, the installation of the jacket was delayed by only 2 months and all parties successfully managed to complete the planned work safely.
The installation of the topsides is planned for April 2021.
