Self Installing Platforms avoid the need for expensive heavy lift vessels which are nowadays scarcely available. This leads to considerable cost reductions and an earlier return on investment.
Furthermore, SPT Offshore provides suction piles, Suction Pile Clusters (SPC) and Suction Embedded Anchors (SEA) for the mooring of floating units (FPSOs, MOPUs, buoys, FSUs, etc), subsea structures and subsea pipelines.

Ithaca Jacky Platform Successfully Installed
2nd January 2009, SPT Offshore successfully installed the suction pile foundation of the Ithaca Jacky Platform.
November 2008, SPT Offshore has expanded its fleet of suction pump units with 4 identical newly designed SAPS-004 suction pump units
Petrobras Deep water SEA Anchor test
SPT Offshore will conduct a deep water SEA Anchor test for Petrobras. The test is to show that SEA anchors can be installed without A-frame or crane.
